Delridge Station

Scharrer AD is working on preliminary engineering for the Delridge Station, one of four of the West Seattle Link Extension stations being developed as part of Line 3 of the Sound Transit Link Light Rail System. Project included completion of Final EIS for the Preferred Alternative location, Preliminary Engineering drawings and Basis of Design report and production of graphics for public consumption. Delridge Station is an elevated station that bridges over a bus access road. Delridge station is a RET (Racial Equity Toolkit) Station, which required additional consideration for vertical transportation needs as well as additional canopies and site amenities to provide a safe, seamless and comfortable experience for the passengers of this area. The station design included a concourse with entries at multiple levels to accommodate bus transfers and existing slope conditions. An adjacent smaller parcel to the south was included as part of this project for a bicycle room, storage and future TOD use.
