ScharrerAD is seeking a new member for our small, but dynamic team. Our work is centered upon public projects, large and small, with an emphasis on transit infrastructure within our ever-growing Seattle Region. As a small firm, you’ll have the opportunity to partake in all aspects of the design process, including space planning, design documentation, project management, and business development.
Qualified applicants will possess most of the following skills:
Approximately 5-10 years of experience.
Professional degree in Architecture, Planning, or Interior Design.
License or professional credential desired.
Knowledge of LEED, or sustainable design preferred.
Familiarity with building codes and permitting.
Excellent grasp of assembling contract documents and strong design skills from concept through detailing.
Ability to support multiple projects of varying sizes.
Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office. A general comfort with technology and learning new programs is desired.
Desire to support marketing efforts and promoting the firm.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to provide Quality Control on projects.
Understanding of contract specifications desired.
Comfort with Interior Design would be great.
Ability to travel to project sites and follow Covid-safety protocols.
