The Lakewood Station is a multi-modal transit facility for providing commuter rail, regional and local bus service, and a parking garage with 620 spaces. The new transit center creates a strong sense of identity and connection for the community, and it has provided a positive transformation for the neighborhood and new sense of place. The Station was completed in 2006 and has been a serving the local and regional bus service. Commuter rail service to the station began in Fall of 2012.
On this project I was the project manager leading the architectural team through the design and construction phases.
